Intended UseHuman ANG ELISA Kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of ANG , concentrations in serum, Plasma , tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.
StorageStore the whole ELISA kit at 4℃
Product Description specificalPrinciple of the assay: human ANG ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for ANG has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(E.coli, Q25-P147) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for ANG is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human ANG amount of sample captured in plate.
Background: Angiogenin (Ang) also known as ribonuclease 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANG gene. Angiogenin is a potent stimulator of new blood vessel formation. It hydrolyzes cellular tRNAs resulting in decreased protein synthesis and is similar to pancreatic ribonuclease. Angiogenins are involved in host defense and noted that inflammation provokes upregulated ANG mRNA expression in liver and an increase in detectable ANG protein in serum. The human angiogenin gene was mapped to chromosome 14q11.
