Product Description specificalIntended Uses: This CLIA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of DHT concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay||This CLIA kit uses Competitive-CLIA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with DHT. During the reaction, DHT in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of DHT on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to DHT. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The Relative light unit (RLU) valueis measured spectrophotometrically by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is negatively associated with the concentration of DHT. You can calculate the concentration of DHT in the samples by comparing the RLU of the samples to the standard curve.
