SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of SRD5a. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between SRD5a and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between SRD5a and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
Intended UseMouse SRD5a ELISA Kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of SRD5a , concentrations in serum, Plasma , tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.
StorageFor 5-7days:Store the whole kit at 4℃
For a Long time :Store the Substrate at 4℃, other reagent should store at -20℃.
Product Description specificalPrinciple of the assay: SRD5a ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-SRD5a antibody and an SRD5a-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with SRD5a-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the SRD5a concentration since SRD5a from samples and SRD5a-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-SRD5a antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by SRD5a from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind SRD5a-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The SRD5a concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
