SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse dopamine. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse dopamine and analogues was observed.

SamplesSerum, Plasma , tissue homogenates,Cell culture supernates,Other biological fluids.
-
SensitivityThe minimum detectable dose of mouse dopamine is typically less than 2.5 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest mouse dopamine concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determin

Product Description
specificalPrinciple of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for dopamine and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated dopamine. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled dopamine and unlabeled dopamine with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of dopamine in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
