specificalIntroduction: An anti-sperm antibody is defined as an immunoglobulin with antibody activity against a sperm antigen that plays a role in fertility. Antisperm antibodies in the form of autoantibodies in male and alloantibodies in female patients directed against sperm antigens may prevent fertilization of the oocyte into the female genital tract and are therefore one of the major reasons for an immunologically induced infertility. Fertility disorders of unknown etiology of male as well as female patients result to a considerably amount (up to 20%) from antisperm antibodies.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with specific an tigen tigen . Samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells and incubated. Then add Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated -anti-mouse IgG to each well and incubate. Finally, substrate solutions are added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. Calculate the valence of mouse AsAb ouse AsAb ouse AsAb ouse AsAb in the samples.
