SpecificityThis assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human apo-C2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human apo-C2 and analogues was observed.
SensitivityThe minimum detectable dose of human apo-C2 is typically less than 15.6 ng/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest human apo-C2 concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined
Intended UseHuman APOC2 ELISA Kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of APOC2 , concentrations in serum, Plasma , tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.

Product Description specificalPrinciple of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with apo-C2. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for apo-C2. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated apo-C2 and apo-C2 in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of apo-C2 in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
