SamplesSerum, Plasma , tissue homogenates,Cell culture supernates,Other biological fluids.
-
SensitivityThe minimum detectable dose of human PG-E2 is typically less than 0.75 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest human PG-E2 concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined th

Product Description
specificalPrinciple of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for PG-E2 and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated PG-E2. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled PG-E2 and unlabeled PG-E2 with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of PG-E2 in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
