Product Description
specificalPrinciple of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells and any human hantavirus (HV) antibody (IgM) present is bound by the pre-coated anti-human IgM. After washing, antigen conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound antigen-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human hantavirus (HV) antibody (IgM) bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
